Few days ago while travelling to IIT Kanpur on the Yeshvanthpur Gorakhpur express ,I realised got suddenly out of no where interested in theory of computation ,complexity and automata and now I want to be a theoretical Computer Scientist .This is not the first time I have seen such a change in mind as to what I want to really do in life .Firstly I am confused as to how people choose their sacred profession .Some one said what comes naturally is talent and one should nurture it .Well issues concerning politics ,economy ,political economy fascinate me .Recently I had a fierce arguement with a student of a "IIT"over Monetary policy framework ,Public debt management agency and the usual issues of inflation versus growth the issues concerning incumbent RBI and north block .when the issue of incumbent RBI governor Dr rajan came .I said that though swamy's language is not civil but the contents of his arguements cannot be taken lightly .Samuelson swamy paper of theory of index numbers forms the basis for setting of monetary policy . These geniuses whenever their arguement seems on the back foot they resort to questions like where do u study what do u study etc ??I am actually reading these days articles ,research papers concerning trickle down economics especially after IMF economists showed that it is only creating safe tax havens and how they showed income inequality is actually rising through gini's co efficient .Few days ago met a genius kid 17 year guy going to waterloo who is deeply knowledgable on string theory ,M theory ,Quantum computing,Quantum cryptology and other cool stuff .This came at a time when I attended around 10 lectures on quantum entanglement at IITK by prof Anand Jha and this fascinated me like hell .He has attended conferences and published papers along with researchers at IIIT-H and ISI .I very much like personalities .Ed witten ,CV Vishveshwara,Scott aaronson,ashoke sen ,raj reddy sir roger penrose paul samuelson ,weil,andrew wiles ,perelman ,of course how could i forget the ultimate hero cedric villani (Math is sexy and human brain isnt designed for math ) ,very recently peter scholze and maryna .Ed witten fascinated me the most "physics israel and tennis are the 3 reasons why i am living "wow!!I recently got enthused to examine about the Hilbert's program to axiomatise all of mathematics ,its impact on the foundation of math ,Godel's incompleteness theorem ,wittgenstein and turing 's works and also the anti mathematics school of thought .I heard from a friend that one guy currently studying in MIT gave a popular talk on this while he was at IIT.(JEE 28th rank guy )So i approached him for his views but he started answering like a dumb and I wondered how he could give a talk without even understanding the nuances of the topic . I knew that I am not studying the way it ought to be ,I was just getting fascinated by english and not doing math .Then one of my friends suggested me to start reading foundation to mathematical logic by Prof Shrivastava .Wow !!this is an amazing book .My parents have given me the freedom explore wide .variety of fields .They have supported me be it during my days trying to set a new Limca record or days travelling on a flight from here to there .My ultimate home is in my intellectual thoughts and arguements .I dont get turned on by dirty talks ,I dont fit into the narrative where people are more focused on what universities should one study
